continuation of my well known noobness

dinner with family, yesterday. was quite in a bad mood, as josh already knew. dunno why, just school and a megazillion due dates looming up at my face.


we were eating chicken, and i was secretly texting under the table. suddenly i looked up with a new hungerness feeling. i asked aloud to no one in particular, "is there anymore rice in the cooker?"

no one answered immediately. mum was busy calling someone, and my brother was busy eating and so was my sister. suddenly my phone buzzed and i focused back on reading the new text message.

suddenly my mother randomly said "yeah, there's a bit left." i didnt reply cuz i didnt know what she was on about. then my brother said, louder, "yes, there's still some rice." i still didnt respond. he said even louder, "YES THERE IS."

i looked up, annoyed. "yeah? what ?"
"there's still some rice in the cooker."
"and ? so?"
".... didnt you ask if there were any left ?"
i was about to argue back when i finally realised he was right.
"oh." so i got up and got more rice.
